CEO Christmas Greetings/Wishes

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Investors and Shareholders,

The year 2020 was a year of great challenges and changes, also for asknet Solutions AG and you, our shareholders. As an initial summary, I believe that we were - all in all - able to confront those challenges quite well.

Thanks to several, clearly incisive capital measures, including the sale of the Nexway AG Group, we were able to set the company on a strong financial foundation and thus create the basis for a new sustainable business strategy focusing on growth.

The new asknet Solutions AG will center primarily on the edtech solutions segment. This is where our company's greatest USPs lie and where we can build on a strong market position in the German-speaking markets. Major contracts signed during the year, including those with IBM and Blackboard, underpin the legitimacy and potential of the new strategy. Additionally, our Dell Hosted Shopping Application is about to be launched, promising a great start to 2021. We will duly keep you up to date on this project.

We are currently working on a comprehensive and all-embracing strategy and the formulation of clear measures and targets to be executed in the forthcoming period. We will be more than happy to share this new strategy with you in early 2021.

The Corona pandemic has posed many practical problems for us throughout the year, from setting up the home office operation to protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, to hosting a virtual Annual General Meeting. At the same time, it has served as a major driver for our new focus markets. It has clearly revealed the digital deficits in the global education sector, so that high investments are to be expected here in the coming years.

We are therefore cautiously positive about the New Year, notwithstanding the uncertainty about the further development of the pandemic.

Thank you very much for your support. Stay with us and, above all, stay healthy!

Merry Christmas!
